Thanks to JustJared.com, we can read some excerpts of FLAUNT’s interview with our Chloe. I have mentioned this few days ago and I have added this day small scans of the magazine. Now, I have for you the larger ones and the photos taken by Yu Tsai.Chloe looks incredible. I love her. Visit the photo gallery and view this beautiful photo shoot ;-)
On choosing roles:
I mean, yeah. I’ve done some kid stuff, but I mean I’m just driven to do stuff that is not ‘me,’ you know? … I just had a meeting with a director and I have three pages of notes on the psychology of the character and her thoughts and her past. It’s, like, as complicated as genetics.

I’m hopefully going to Columbia University. I want to do a minor in Art History and major in Criminal Psychology. I find criminal psychology incredibly fascinating and scary and how volatile the human mind can be. And I really love classical art, definitely. I mean, I’ve been to so many amazing places in Paris and London, and I’ve seen some beautiful pieces.
I’m not doing campaigns yet. I want to wait a couple years, because I think if I do it right now, where am I going to go when I’m 20 and I’ve already done two campaigns or something? You know, I figure, why do everything so young and so fast? I’m only 15. Why rush everything? I’m saving a lot of stuff for later. A fashion campaign will come in due time.

Here it is, the red-band trailer for Derick Martini’s adaptation of “Hick”. The story follows Luli (Chloe Moretz), a 13-year-old Nebraskan girl, and her rough life of crime and seduction on the road after she runs away from her neglectful parents. Taken in by Glenda (Blake Lively), a hard-living grifter, the two take Las Vegas by storm, guns in hand. Eddie Redmayne, Rory Culkin, Juliette Lewis and Alec Baldwin also co-star in the adaptation which is slated to hit UltraVOD on May 8th and heads to select theaters starting on May 11th at the beginning of the summer.
As far as I’m concerned, I can’t wait to see it. I’m curious how Chloe managed her role (and I have no doubts about it!) but the critics aren’t impressed by the film nor Chloe Grace. As one critic wrote when the film debuted at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival: “‘Hick’ is an even worse film than ‘Kick-Ass,’ and a potential [Chloe] Grace-Moretz career-killer.” We’ll see.
On April 26, Chloe Grace attended the CinemaCon Awards ceremony at the Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace during CinemaCon, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners. As it had been announced before, Chloe received the Female Star of Tomorrow Award so we can see the photos of her as she was smiling and posing with the award. Congrats, Chloe!
Providing us with some new looks at the film, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with the cast and crew, Warner Bros has let out the hatch this stellar featurette for Tim Burton’s upcoming gothic-comedy ‘Dark Shadows.’ Have you seen brand new behind-the-scenes featurette for Dark Shadows? If you haven’t, check the video below! :)
I’d like to mention, that Dark Shadows is set to theaters and IMAX on May 11. Would you like to watch it?
PS. After the jump, you can also watch Entertainment Tonight’s behind-the-scenes look at a few brand new scenes from Dark Shadows… PS2. I’ve just added to photo gallery new Dark Shadows poster. Go here to see it.
I’ve just added some new high quality photos of Chloe Grace who was spotted arriving back in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 25) after a breathtaking vacation in Bora Bora. The pictures shows Chloe who is smiling, but we know from her twitter that she didn’t want to leave ‘the paradise’ Bora Bora. Who would like to? ;-) Enjoy the pictures! :)
