Brand new “Dark Shadows” trailer has already surfaced the net and it features a scene with Chloe Moretz as Carolyn Stoddard which we haven’t seen before. In case if you don’t know, the film is directed by Tim Burton (“Edward Scissorhands”, “Corpse Bride”) and stars such a big names like Johnny Depp (the main protagonist of the film, Barnabas Collins), Eva Green (Angelique Bouchard), Michelle Pfeiffer (Elizabeth Collins Stoddard, a mother of Carolyn) and Helena Bonham Carter (Dr. Julia Hoffman). “Dark Shadows” is released in cinemas May 11th this year (USA).
According to Box Office Mojo, release date of Brian De Palma’s “Carrie” remake, film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel “Carrie” is set for March 15, 2013!
Carrie is the film directed by Kimberly Pierce, starring Chloe Grace Moretz as Carrie. We still don’t know who will play Carrie’s mother — Jodie Foster or Julianne Moore. Have you ever seen Brian De Palma’s movie or read the book? If you haven’t, read what the film is about:
A modern classic, Carrie introduced a distinctive new voice in American fiction — Stephen King. The story of misunderstood high school girl Carrie White, her extraordinary telekinetic powers, and her violent rampage of revenge, remains one of the most barrier-breaking and shocking novels of all time. Make a date with terror and live the nightmare that is… Carrie.
Thanks to TheFashionSpot.com forum user, Ammon who has taken the photos of April issue of Vogue China. There is The Flowers of Youth article featuring our Chloe Grace as well as Lily Collins, Hailee Steinfeld, Bella Heathcote and Juno Temple. I guess the article is about them as ‘faces of the future’, ‘young actresses who will become famous very soon’ or something like that. I wish I spoken Chinese, because I could translate you this small part devoted to Chloe. What a shame… ;( Photos that were used for the issue were taken by Hedi Silmane and the actresses were stylized by Clare Richardson. Chloe looks beautiful! I’ve added one photo from photo shoot, check it out ;-)
I know it was almost month ago, but I decided to post it, because nobody has written about it :)
Seventeen has posted on its site video from Chloe Grace’s photo shoot. She talks summer trends, dating and why she’s so excited to be on the cover of the magazine. Check it out! :)
It seems to be that Chloe had fun during photo shoot… ;-)
Who knew that our Chloe Grace will be a cover star of May issue of Seventeen Magazine? Chloe took us by surprise (she haven’t ever mentioned that she was at the photo shoot!) and here it is, the cover of the magazine! The Dark Shadows star spills to Seventeen about dating, her Hollywood friends, and her most prized fashion accessory. You can see a beautiful photo shoot of her in our photo gallery and below there are some excerpts of the interview. Voilà!
On Her Hick Co-Star, Blake Lively:
“Blake wears the most amazing clothes every day of her life. I went into her closet one night when she was trying things on for an event, and and she was getting dressed, and I was helping her choose what dress to wear. She had brought probably a hundred pairs of Louboutins, and she was like ‘Try these on, try those on.’ We basically had a shoe party!”
She Still Gets Grounded
“I just got my phone back yesterday. My mom had it for two days. I was supposed to read a book and I really wanted to play Call Of Duty. It’s not like I want to go read the hot story in Cosmo and get locked up! No, I get caught for playing video games. I probably play more than any guy does.
“I follow the most random people on Twitter. I follow famous people like Khloe Kardashian, who surprisingly makes really funny tweets all the time. I follow Chelsea Handler. Or I’ll follow Joan Rivers and then I’m like ‘Oh my god, yes, I love you.'”
“I like guys that are a little bit older, if they are cool and not completely immature…I’ll date one day if I find someone that I want to let into my life enough. I have to feel out the waters and see what’s up.”
Life Imitating Art
“Of all the characters I’ve played, I relate the most to Isabel in Hugo. She’s so adventurous and fun. She just loves reading books and those are her adventures. Isabel is a heightened version of my personality.
“Turning 16 is kind of scary because when you’re 16, you go from being a kid and then you can drive and are more of a young adult in a way. But I’m definitely looking forward to it, mainly just so I can drive!”
I can’t wait to see full editorial, it must be marvellous!
