According to Collider.com, at the Kapow! Comic Convention, writer-director Jeff Wadlow confirmed that ‘Kick-Ass 2’ shooting would begin in September and he added that Chloe had not officially signed on to reprise her role as Hit-Girl. At the event he talked about how Hit-Girl has a much bigger role in his script than she does in the book:
If you’ve read the comic, you know, she gives up being Hit-Girl, which was a brilliant idea I thought on Mark’s part. It’s something I explore something quiet deeply in the movie because what happens in the comic is she sort of steps away from the story in many ways and she’s sort of sidelined while Dave is working with Justice Forever and Chris is becoming the Mother[frick]er. But I was quite interested in what happens to her when she’s not being Hit-Girl. Her story is a major, major part of the film and she’s excited about the ideas and we’re in talks.
Chloe is now set to lead the remake of Carrie, she might play the title character in the zombie film Maggie, and this summer she’s shooting a supporting role in the Dennis Wilson biopic The Drummer. Since Carrie already has a March 15, 2013 release date, that movie would have to shoot in late July-August if Chloe wants to do Kick-Ass 2. Of course, if Wadlow is so intent on her returning, then he may have to push back the start date of Kick-Ass 2 to accommodate the talented young actress’ busy schedule.
I keep my fingers crossed! I can’t wait for Kick-Ass 2!
Watch the video of MTV’s “10 on Top” featuring our charming Chloe Grace who answered 7 questions. She talks her role in “Dark Shadows”, being a witch or a vampire, her own stunts, and which movie in her opinion, should win “Best Movie” Award at MTV Movie Awards. Check it out!
Asked if she’d rather be a witch or a vampire:I’d probably rather be a witch because being a vampire, I don’t think I want to be eternal. I don’t think I want to live forever. I’ll take all the idealism of a vampire and stick it in a witch, minus all the creepiness of a witch. I’ll be like a vamwich (like a sandwich).
After “Dark Shadows” premiere, on the net we can find some news related to new possible projects for our Chloe Grace. I’ve found some interesting which concern “Maggie” and “Back Roads”.
Variety reports that Chloe has been tipped to take the titular role in the Henry Hobson-directed dramatic horror, “Maggie”. It’s written by John Scott 3 and follows a family that helps their eldest daughter fight an infection, which slowly turns her into a zombie. Chloe would play title role of Maggie.
It isn’t confirmed, but I keep my fingers crossed ;) And you? What do you think? :)
In 2011 Adrian Lyne was rumored to take on the adaptation of Tawni O’Dell‘s best-selling ‘Back Roads’. Now, we have new rumours about it! Chloe’s task, apparently, is to play one of three sisters who are put under the watch of their older brother, Harley, after their mother (who with her husband begin an ill-fated sexual relationship) is thrown in prison for killing her abusive husband.
Some sources tell that Chloe’s role is confirmed. Have you heard that Kristen Stewart is in talks for sister role in ‘Back Roads’? Who’s excited? ;-)
MTV Movie Awards is coming up, so the promotion has just started. Watch the video where Usher, Elizabeth Banks, Ellie Kemper, Liam Hemsworth, Kristen Bell, Chloe Moretz and more urge to rise up in the name of dirtbags and popcorn sprinkled with gold. Chloe is literally for one second :)
Chloe isn’t nominated for any award but you can still vote for your favourite movies here :)
